The 57th Annual
Halifax Art Festival
November 2 & 3, 2019

City Island - Daytona Beach, Florida

Deadline June 20, 2019

We Invite You To Participate In Our Festival!

The Halifax Art Festival has risen in attendance and reputation to become one of the most prestigious festivals in the Central Florida area. It is the second oldest continual festival in Florida.

In 2018, the two-day event was voted 24th in the Nation for Fine Arts Festivals by Sunshine Artist Magazine.  The Daytona Beach News-Journal voted the Festival "Best Local Festival" and Hometown News voted it "Best Outdoor Festival."  The Festival, also, is awarded grants from the Halifax Area Advertising Authority.

This year, the Halifax Art Festival will have a new location due to the City's $15 million makeover of Riverfront Park and Beach Street.  Construction is scheduled to begin this summer.  For the safety of our artists, volunteers, and shoppers, we have accepted the City's recommendation to hold the Festival on Daytona's City Island.  It's a scenic island nestled between Riverfront Park and the intercoastal (Halifax) river.  The site offers both paved and grass areas; however, it is a smaller venue with approximately 250 booths spaces for fine artists and fine crafters.

Admission is free to the public with plenty of free parking for artists as well as artful shoppers. Artist amenities include booth sitters, coffee and donuts Saturday & Sunday mornings, complimentary snack and water delivered to artists, artist pizza party Saturday night, an Awards Breakfast Sunday morning, and all weekend security.

The comprehensive, multi-layered marketing/publicity campaign draws 25,000 shoppers from beachside, the I-40 Orlando/Tampa corridor, and the local ‘showbirds’ to the Festival.

The Festival celebrates seasoned as well as emerging artists and craftsmen.  The Fine Arts & Fine Crafts area is juried, judged and eligible for over $40,000 in prize money and Patron Awards.  The Crafts area is juried but not eligible for award money.  Art work in both areas mst be  original creations.

We make artists our first priority at the Halifax Art Festival.  Apply and see why Daytona Beach is a great place to vacation as well as an exceptional opportunity to showcase your art work.

The 57th Annual Halifax Art Festival is presented and produced by the Guild of the Daytona Beach Museum of Arts & Sciences. The Festival is the Guild’s Signature fundraiser for the Museum.
