	Waterfront Farmers Market Point Pleasant, WV - Main Street Show Dates: 5/18/2024 to 5/18/2024 pointpleasantwv.org/farmers-market.html The Waterfront Farmers Market was established in 2023. All of our vendors are local, within a 50 mile radius or from West Virginia. You'll find in-season produce, locally raised meat, farm fresh eggs, home baked goods, local honey, fresh flowers, berries, handmade jewelry and crafts, and so much more from local farmers and artisans! Find something new every Saturday! We're currently in the process of building our permanent market (that fancy pavilion up top) using a $470,000 grant received in last year's Federal budget, but in the meantime, you can still join us downtown behind the Lowe Hotel every Saturday (starting April 15th) for our popup market!

	Dahlonega Arts & Wine Festival - 9th Annual Dahlonega, GA - Downtown Square & Hancock Park Show Dates: 5/18/2024 to 5/19/2024 chestateeartists.org The Dahlonega Arts & Wine Festival, May 15 & 16, 2021 is the perfect event for lovers of art, wine, and jazz. Chestatee Artists will present this exciting event for the 5th year in the historic downtown square and Hancock Park. The focus is on featuring high quality arts and crafts, fine local and regional wines, and terrific jazz performances to entertain our visitors for this truly cultural event. Seventy or more carefully selected artists and crafters will display creative products for purchase during the two-day event in downtown Dahlonega. Hours for the festival are 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Visitors will be able to select from paintings in oil, acrylics, watercolors and mixed media, as well as creative photography. Quality crafts accepted by the jury committee will include ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, wood items, leather crafts, fused and stained glass, fiber arts, custom knives, and other hand crafted creations.

	Rose Squared Art Show Verono Park - 38th Annual Verona, NJ - Verona Park Show Dates: 5/18/2024 to 5/19/2024 www.rosesquared.com Rose Squared Art Shows is pleased to announce our 2021 Art Show Schedule. The 37th Annual Rose Squared at Anderson Park (Upper Montclair, NJ), September 18-19, 2021 and 22nd Annual Rose Squared at Brookdale Park (Bloomfield/Montclair, NJ), October 16-17, 2021. All artist applications will now be on ZAPPlication. These shows will run new health and safety modifications that meet all state and local guidelines. We have decided out of an abundance of caution to not host our normal spring shows but look forward to a full schedule in 2022. The Rose Squared Art Shows have a long-standing reputation for showcasing high quality, hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind artwork in a gorgeous park setting. These shows provide an opportunity to engage directly with exceptional artists, who are juried into the show by a panel of art professionals. 	Delaware Arts Festival - 49th Annual Delaware, OH - Downtown City Streets Show Dates: 5/18/2024 to 5/19/2024 www.delawareartsfestival.org Located in the central business district and less than a block from Ohio Wesleyan University Campus. Closed city streets provides a great arena for sales, fun, food, entertainment, youth art exhibits and children's activities at this very well attended and public supported event. A tremendous and heartfelt thank you to everyone who had a hand in making the Delaware Arts Festival's return a success! We are completely volunteer run, and dedicated to providing scholarships for Delaware County high school graduates who are continuing their studies in the visual arts at the university level. Congratulations to this year's scholarship winners (Robin McMaster, Victoria Cruz, and Ari Gaub) and thank you to our sponsors, visitors/shoppers, artists, food trucks, judges, volunteers, and our community partners: DATA shuttle bus drivers, police officers, security officers, firefighters, EMT, Public Works employees, Delaware City Council, the City Manager's office, City of Delaware Special Events Committee, the Delaware County District Library for hosting the Student Art Show, and the downtown Delaware shop and restaurant owners whose customers were unable to park in front of their establishments for the two days of the festival!

May 30 - June 1, 2014 Review by Inna Schoeler Here was another first year show for me... I guess this was my year to venture out and try new events! Well to begin with, the location was great! Set right in the downtown area you just can't beat the customer traffic. The bad news is that it is much harder to set up. Everything has to be carried into the park. If you're by yourself or if your work is heavy this of course presents a real problem. Luckily there are plenty of volunteers and I was assigned two strong young boys who hauled everything right to my space in just a few minutes. This was a real treat when I had expected to have to carry everything myself. If you do want to transport your own work that is fine too... but make sure you bring a dolly or hand cart as you'll need it. Parking is a real dilemma too. Unless you plan on getting to the show at 7:00am each day and then souring the entire downtown area to find that elusive free parking spot... just plan on spending $20.00 per day to park your vehicle. The spaces are very limited and even at $20.00 you'll have to make sure you arrive early. The park itself is full of trees and of course those trees have lot of roots to you'll have to make some consideration for that potential problem too. Very little sits flat and those roots can even cause a potential safety problem inside your booth. It's not an insurmountable problem but it is one you should be aware of. Some spaces on the other hand were very open and had a lot of sun. Not that one was better than another... it's just the luck of the draw which one you get. Well now I'm all set up... I've had my equipment hauled into the park... I've compensated for the roots in my booth and I'm ready to sell! Unfortunately on the first day mother nature had another idea. It rained... and it rained... and it rained some more! We were completely flooded the first day. In fact after being swamped under about two feet of water the show was called off early so everyone could collect themselves and make room for the lifeboats. Luckily this was the only day with rain... and surprisingly up until the show was closed I was actually making good sales. The next day the sun came out and sales were better yet! It's amazing how much easier it is to work with customers when you don't have to deal with all that water! In the end it was a good show with nice customers and I anticipate a lot of repeat sales when I come again. The potential of rain is a fact of life when you do an outdoor show so always be prepared to deal with it. I made enough money to definitely plan on returning another year. This is a nice, unique, upscale market that I enjoyed... and even though we had to face some adversity during the event, the staff couldn't have provided more hospitality or help to overcome the problems we encountered. Certainly no one wants to lose sales to rain but who can predict that? But by the same token, the staff had the good sense to close the show when it was apparent that action was in the best interest of every one.
