About The Festival

The Chincoteague Blueberry Festival remains the largest Fine Arts and Crafts event on the Eastern Shore of Virginia with exhibitors from 14 states including many excellent local artists. This large Fine Arts and Crafts exhibit brings a unique Christmas in July shopping atmosphere to Chincoteague Island. The Fine Arts and Crafts exhibits are located both inside the Chincoteague Center building and outside on the beautiful Chincoteague Center green space. It should be noted that the Chincoteague Center is handicapped accessible and the Blueberry Festival is pet friendly with abundant, convenient parking.

"I had the pleasure of attending the Chincoteague Island Blueberry Festival, and what an experience! This is by far one of the best arts and craft fairs Iā€™ve ever been to. The vendors were all so friendly, offering everything from beautiful handmade jewelry to stunning paintings and unique home decor. The highlight for me, though, was the fresh blueberries and all the delicious blueberry treats ā€“ pies, jams, and even blueberry-themed ice cream! Itā€™s the perfect family outing, with something for everyone to enjoy. Canā€™t wait to come back in 2025!"

The array of talented artisans showcasing their work was impressive, and I found so many unique, one-of-a-kind pieces to take home.
