About Preferred Promotions...

Preferred Promotions was established in 1996 by Don & Rachel Frislid. Don was a blacksmith's apprentice and Rachel a graphic artist when they were first introduced to craft shows. They traveled throughout the northeast participating in juried art & craft festivals. Don and Rachel dreamed of creating a high quality marketplace on Long Island for artisans to sell their work. Preferred Promotions began as one show in Stony Brook with 85 exhibitors. It has now grown to many shows through out the year with the Autumn Art & Craft Festival being the largest indoor juried art & craft show on Long Island, featuring over 150 artisans. Every applicant is juried or judged by slides and photos of their work. Many apply, but only the very best are selected to participate. They are judged on quality, craftsmanship and originality. All the shows are well organized, well attended, and held in beautiful communities on Long Island.

In addition to the eclectic handcrafted items for sale, there are also craft demonstrations, children's activities and musical entertainment. Our outdoor shows are a wonderful treat for the whole family and our indoor shows offer a fascinating shopping experience.Please feel free to contact us with any questions or suggestions.  If you're looking for a certain artist or craftsman we can usually lp find them. Photos, slides and digital images - We need professional quality images to promote you and the show. We need digital images for our website, emailings, postcard mailings, facebook page, posters and advertisements.

We can not pull images from your website they must be emailed to us at info@preferredpromotions.com. Please send images in high resolution if possible. A 4x6 300 dpi would look great on our postcard or in the newspaper. Lower resolutions can only be displayed on our website or emailings. Slides and photos are also accepted.

Notification - You will be notified by mail of acceptance. We will jury until full. Apply early, popular categories fill up quickly. If not accepted or put on a wait list your deposit check will be returned.

Public Relations - To be included on our website photo gallery, in our public relations campaign and in our print and internet advertising please send digital images, or slides. We always need professional quality images for all our marketing efforts.

Refund Policy - Cancellation 2 months prior to show will receive full refund, less deposit.
