	St. Petersburg International Folk Fair - 50th Annual St. Petersburg, FL - Albert Whitted Park Show Dates: 3/05/2026 to 3/07/2026 www.spiffs.org In addition to Folk Fair, SPIFFS offers the following services to anyone in the area — and we invite you to use them! The Speakers Bureau - Folk Artists and ethnic resource volunteers visit area schools and other community venues to discuss the heritage of their ethnic group, share their music, dance, arts and crafts, and sometimes demonstrate ethnic food specialties. The Language Bank - More than 100 individuals handling more than 30 different languages and dialects serve as translators and interpreters for the community in courts, hospitals and schools and assist local city and county officials with translations for visiting dignitaries. General Assembly - Each of the SPIFFS ethnic member groups have a delegate and an alternate delegate to the SPIFFS which meets once a month at the Sunshine Center in downtown St. Petersburg. Folk dance groups - Many of the member groups have dance groups which are available to perform throughout the community. One of these groups is the SPICE (St. Petersburg International Children’s Ensemble). For the other entertainment groups, please contact SPIFFS office.

Old Town Cottonwood has reinvented itself as a world-class wine tourism destination with a number of fine-dining restaurants, bakeries, shops, galleries, and ten wine-tasting rooms including Maynard Keenan’s new multi-million dollar wine-making/tasting room/restaurant located virtually across Main Street from the event. Only 30 minutes from Sedona and 10 minutes from Jerome, Old Town Cottonwood has become the region’s hottest tourism destination. Visitors from the immediate region, the state, the Southwest, the US, and the world visit Cottonwood to partake of the outstanding food, excellent wine, beautiful scenery, fascinating history, and multiple outdoor activities. The event is held on a flat, grassy field that was once a baseball field and is city property. The event is only steps from Main Street and there is adequate parking for hundreds of visitors. This event is promoted by two exhibiting artists with years of experience setting-up at outdoor art fairs and is structured with both the artist and the attendee in mind. Swamp Fest has grown from a small community fundraising festival to an annual event that draws thousands from all over. In 1994 Swamp Fest held its first annual festival in the parking lot at the Weeki Wachee Area Club, soon outgrowing the parking lot it moved around the corner to the Weeki Wachee Christian Camp. The festival remained there for a few years before moving even further down Shoal Line Boulevard to Linda Pedersen Park. In 2013 Swamp Fest made the big move to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. In 2018 we made the trek back to the swamp and 2019 will be held, once again, at Linda Pedersen Park!

IT IS BASICALLY A FLEA MARKET ACCORDING TO REPORTS WE HAVE HAD. Trade Days in Ponchatoula have been an ongoing event since 2006 and has become bigger and even more popular with each passing year. But with Trade Days being such a well know Ponchatoula event, it might be rather surprising to find that the beginning of Trade Days had a rocky start. The first Trade Days was set for November 2005. However, it would be postponed until March 2006 due to the destruction that Katrina dealt to Louisiana in 2005. Not even a natural disaster as devastating as Katrina could keep the local Ponchatoula community down for long. The community came together and with the postponed date the locals were able to organize the very first and very successful Trade Days in Ponchatoula. Since 2006 Trade Days is held the first weekend in March and November in the Ponchatoula downtown commuter parking lot. And this year’s Trade Day is estimated to top 200 booths, and with even more vendors there will be twice as much fun to be had at Trade Day.

If itâ€™s not rain, itâ€™s the wind. If you book shows in Florida in March then make sure youâ€™re prepared to protect yourself and your work from the elements. The weekend at the Grant Seafood Festival was true to form this year and we were threatened with bad weather the whole time. Over the last few years it seems that the festival had kind of lost focus with regard to the direction they wanted to go with exhibitors. The good news is that this year that focus seems to have returned and as a result we had some strong exhibitors and although there were a several empty booths, the event had a nice mix of work and we ended up having a really good show. Saturday we were lucky and although we were surrounded by rain on all sides it didnâ€™t hit us. Actually we had a great show on Saturday with lots of sales and a lot of people. Sunday morning our luck ran out and we did get hit with a few of the storms. By about 10:00am everything cleared up and the people came back. Although we thought Sunday sales may be down... and compared to Saturday they were... but we still had a decent day. By about 3:30-4:00pm the show was over for all intents and purposes but when we counted up the sales we had a really decent weekend and weâ€™d definitely be back again next year. I donâ€™t care how well you plan a festival... when then weather is threatening you always run the risk of iffy sales. Luckily the shoppers took their chances with the weather too and didnâ€™t leave their wallets at home! Historically this show has always been a good one for us. For a short time there was confusion about direction but I also believe that is in the past now... so the potential for this show is really strong. Monica did a great job of organizing the event, advertising very well and picking the exhibitors. This year there were several new people and the reality is that actually worked in our favor. We are always coming up with something new for our booth but not everyone does that. With the new exhibitors the customers seemed to like the variety and spending was back to 100%. Weâ€™re glad we took part in the Festival and we look forward to coming back again next year!

	Cocoa Village Spring Fine Art & Craft Fair - 40th Annual Cocoa, FL - Cocoa Village Show Dates: 3/07/2026 to 3/08/2026 www.VisitCocoaVillage.com The Historic Cocoa Village Association (HCVA) presents four Art & Craft Fairs throughout the calendar year, with the oldest and largest of these, the Fall Art & Craft Fair, being held every year since 1981. The Art & Craft Fairs are held on the streets of Cocoa Village which remain closed for the weekend-long occasions. The Fairs feature a wide variety of handmade or hand altered products presented by some 175 to 225 Exhibitors and each event has a unique identity. The Spring Fine Art & Craft Fair focuses on fine art, offering over $6000.00 in cash and awards and includes a Saturday evening Art Exhibit in the Cocoa Civic Center featuring all entries and highlighting the winning entries. The Summer event retains an outdoor, sporting flair and the Art & Craft Holiday Bazaar in December has a holiday flavor with many of the village merchants securing holiday themed spaces from which to present their own holiday wares. Of course, admission to the Art & Craft Fairs is free and art & craft aficionados enjoy a wide variety of street food and entertainment , a beer garden and a kid's zone; fun for the whole family! Historic Cocoa Village is proud to host 4 well established Art & Craft Shows in our beautiful tree-lined streets each year. Our shows are all juried to insure the best possible quality for our visitors. Beginning in 2013 the jury process has been tightenedâ5 pictures of the vendors handcrafted works, including one of the show set-up and one of the artisan producing their work, will now be required instead of the former 3 pictures. --------------------------------------------------- Cocoa Village Craft Show Cocoa, FL Historic Cocoa Village March 1 & 2, 2014 This was the first time Ive done one of the Cocoa Village shows. I know theyâ€™ve been happening for at least a couple of decades, but somehow their schedule and mine just never coincided. Luckily for me (and for the show) the weather this weekend was just fantastic. Although there are a handful of artists at the show, this is primarily a craft show. But the exhibitors have nice things and with very few exceptions most is actually made by the people selling so youll find there is a nice mix of work. The show draws a crowd from the entire area. Youll see people from the Vero Beach area, a few from Orlando, some from the communities just north of Cocoa ... so its a very regional draw. I might also mention here that its a good thing to set up early. I did, and even before the show really got underway I was already selling several pieces. Sales were good, it was an easy drive for me from Orlando, the setup and tear down were both easy because its a nice size show but not gigantic. Overall its definitely a nice event that I would consider doing another time too.

The dates however are SET for the 2023 show so please put it on your schedule! The 35th Annual Lake Mary Heathrow Festival of the Arts - a Premier Fine Craft Festival March 5 & 6, 2022 LOCATED AT Colonial Town Park Lake Mary!! Between Daytona Beach and Orlando off I-4, take the Exit 101 46A for Heathrow (West) to International Parkway, Colonial Town Center Park is on the right at the intersection of 46A and International Parkway. The venue features the sophistication and excitement of a cosmopolitan avenue while providing scholarships for graduating high school seniors aspiring to become artists!

March 2 & 3, 2013 It's been a while since we've visited the Bloomin' Arts Festival, so it was a real delight to drive into town and see the familiar silver dome in the downtown area that is such a prominent landmark. Another issue with the Bartow area is that the downturn in the economy had hit this area pretty hard making this show and many others in central Florida a real challenge to keep economically viable. The committees of these shows, including Bartow, have had to really dig and work hard to keep the prize money up and to get advertising sponsors. This year I know things have been looking up a bit and when I had to drive around a fair amount to find a parking place and then had to dodge customers walking the other way with purchases... I knew things had improved for the show! While the crowds aren't what they may have been 15 years ago (of course I don't think those crowds are anywhere in the south)... It was nice to see the streets full of shoppers... and even more exciting to see customers with purchases in their hands. In spite of challenging economic times this show still boasts $15,000.00 in cash and purchase awards and the jury committee has still held a high standard for participants. Naturally any show in a smaller community has to have a little something for just about everyone... and this show is no exception. Maybe if this were downtown Ft. Lauderdale or Miami you could have street after street of $4000 original paintings... but you'll only sell so many of those in Bartow. But that doesn't mean it isn't a good market especially if you carry work in a wide price range. Most of the work in the show is a combination of higher end crafts and moderately priced art. I think this combination is just about perfect for the buyers in the area. With enough prize money to attract some rather substantial work you do see it in the show for the purpose of competition... but I really didn't see much of it leaving to go home with buyers. After a couple year of mediocre sales at the show, it was nice to see a decent surge in sales and attendance once more. Everyone keeps telling us that we're getting out of this economic slump... and if the Bloomin' Arts Festival 2012 is an indicator... they may just be right! ----------------------- The Frost Van den Boom, PA Bloomin' Arts Festival is a juried Fine Arts festival and is Bartow's premier event of the year. It is held on the first full weekend each March. Originally called the Spring Art Festival, it has evolved into one of the top festivals in Central Florida and features artists from all across the country. The festival is a collaboration of the Bartow Art Guild, Bartow Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street Bartow. Event Co-Chairs, Michel Githens and Lara Fredericksen, coordinate an all volunteer staff and workers consisting of members from all areas of the community. These are dedicated, hard working volunteers and truly the backbone of the event. The festival events include: Over 100 artists Car Show (Saturday Only) RV Show (Sunday) Quilt show Flower Show Student Art Show Bicycle Race Huge Kids Activities Tent Entertainment On the Green Sunday afternoon Free Concert Original Artwork Raffle (Bartow Art Guild tent) Food Trucks Caricature Artists The festival takes place along several blocks of beautiful, historic downtown Bartow and local businesses and restaurants are open to welcome festival goers. The outdoor market had long been a favorite place for people to shop. But because of the long drive, the short season (May through October) and the fact that it was only open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, many people were unable to attend. And so...that November in 1992 started what is today 15 to 20 Shipshewana On the Road shows a year held in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio where the vendors come to your community. In 2012 their son, Greg Fountain, decided to leave the corporate world and join the family business.
