Bordering fashionable Ferndale, the Hazel Park Art Fair is located in shady Green Acres Park and is free to the public. While the locals peruse your goods, live music fills the park with a folksy, blues vibe, a food court with charity craft beer tent is set up to make sure no one goes hungry (or thirsty), and a variety of performing artists keep children of all ages entertained. Organized by the Hazel Park Arts Council (a nonprofit organization), the Hazel Park Art Fair is an opportunity for the new, emerging artist to get introduced to the art fair circuit and for the experienced and polished fine art artist to show off all those years of experience. We at the Hazel Park Arts Council pride ourselves on offering a diverse selection of art to the community and keeping our fees low to support you - the artists.

Held annually on the last weekend in August in Downton Lake Orion. Legend of the Lake Orion Dragon dates back to sightings in the mid 1800s. What was ultimately discovered to be a childish prank is now a beloved mascot of this beautiful lake community. Please join us as we celebrate the Dragon! DOTL serves as the nonprofit Orion Art Center's largest fundraiser. The Orion Art Center works to nurture artistic spirit, with classes, camps, scholarships, exhibits and special events. There are two things we love: infusing art into the community and connecting people with each other. DOTL does both!

	Great American Banana Split Celebration Latrobe, PA - Downtown Show Dates: 8/23/2025 to 8/24/2025 www.bananasplitfest.com Over 115 years ago in the Western PA town of Latrobe, David Strickler, a pharmacy apprentice, created what may be the most famous sundae of all time — the banana split! Latrobe has had an annual celebration since 2013 when the Pennsylvania Historical Society unveiled a marker at the former site of Tassel's Pharmacy where Sticker was working at the time of his invention. But the banana split isn't the only world-changing thing to come from Latrobe! This town just outside of Pittsburgh was where Fred Rogers of Mister Roger's Neighborhood grew up. It's also where Arnold Palmer was raised and started his golf career at Latrobe Country Club. The town boasts the annual Westmoreland County Air Show, Steelers Training Camp, the original home of Rolling Rock Beer, and St. Vincent College.
