	Destin Seafood Festival - 47th Annual Destin, FL - Harborwalk to Herron Harbor Show Dates: 9/26/2025 to 9/28/2025 www.destinseafoodfest.com/ Destin Seafood Festival October 3 - 5, 2014 Here's another great established seafood festival in Florida. But once again the rain was creating havoc with the show. I've been doing this show since 1986 so I can tell you that it's a great show that is always worth doing... but rain can kill anything. Your location in the show is extremely important any time... but especially when it's raining. The show is almost 1 mile long, and you really want a space up near the actual village. Even with the rain those people made money and without the rain they do great. On a nice day you'll do well anywhere in the show... but with the rain you really want to avoid the far end of the show on the gravel. Not nearly as many people go there even under the best conditions, but with the rains the only word that describes it is desolate. The drainage is bad so there was standing water everywhere... most of the exhibitors left by the second day and it was so bad that the show actually refunded half the show fee because the area was impassable. Luckily we did well enough to have paid for everything and make a few dollars. But once again the rain played the major factor in turning a really great show into something that was mediocre.
	Pensacola Seafood Festival - 47th Annual Pensacola, FL - Downtown Show Dates: 9/26/2025 to 9/28/2025 www.pensacolaseafoodfestival.com/ Pensacola Seafood Festival September 26-28, 2014 The Pensacola Seafood Festival is an old, established show with a great reputation. But once again the weatherman was calling for torrential rain all day long. It seems like just about all summer long at just about every show we were dealing with terrible weather Luckily for this one, the rain never came (hurrah). We had a fairly decent Friday night and the crowds started coming in at about 5:00pm and up until about 10:00pm we had a nice crowd. We made booth fee the first night and an extra couple hundred dollars or so. Saturday we had good luck again and the rain stayed offshore out in the gulf... we had a great day with a big crowd who spent plenty of money all day long There was cloud cover all day long but no rain so the crowd stuck around all day and well into the evening and we all made money. By Sunday morning we heard the sound of rain outside our truck. I looked on the radar on my phone and saw that the storm which had hung offshore all day long on Saturday had moved onshore and was about to unleash upon us So we quickly packed everything up and got it back in the truck before the storm really let go and we decided to call it a day before the day even started (and before we got caught in the downpour). By 7am we had everything in the truck and that was a good decision because by 1:00pm that day the organizers called the show off because the rain was coming down so hard. Itâ€™s too bad that Sunday didnâ€™t work out because we would have liked to make more money, but Friday was great... Saturday was a good solid day for sales and we felt as though we had a great weekend... and we were dry and so was all our work

	Long Grove Apple Festival Long Grove, IL - Downtown Show Dates: 9/26/2025 to 9/28/2025 longgrove.org At the heart of Apple Fest are the vendors doling out local made, apple-inspired cuisine. In the past, Apple Fest has featured countless handmade options, including items like: chocolate caramel apples, candy covered apples, apple wine, apple sangria, hard apple ciders, fresh apple cider donuts, spiced apple lattes, granny apple popcorn, green apple cotton candy, apple crisps, apple goat cheese dumplings, apple cheesecake, apple pie, cinnamon apple ice cream, apple sugar cookie, apple tempura, a variety of farm fresh picked apples from Frank’s Farm Orchard, and much more. 	Marion County Country Ham Days - 56th Annual Lebanon, KY - Main Street Show Dates: 9/26/2025 to 9/28/2025 marioncountykychamber.com/ham-days/ The last full weekend in September we celebrate Marion County Country Ham Days, a “Kentucky Top-Ten Event,” hosted by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce along with its business partners and volunteers. The festival welcomes over 40,000 visitors and acts as an agent for community empowerment. The event began in 1969, and started with a mere six hams and a small number of volunteers. Today, Ham Days serves over 4,000 pounds of country ham at our famous Country Ham Breakfast and recruits hundreds of Marion County volunteers.
